"Be Great. Serve." This simple yet profound motto is a statement expressing the spirit and purpose of Biblical University, and often inscribed on our official logo, seal and banner.

But did you know that “Be Great. Serve” is also our unique slang and the only way to respond when a Great BUite, Great BU Alumnus or Alumna greets you? Here is an example, simple way of greeting and response

Mr. A greets: “Great BUite" or "Great BU Alumnus or Alumna" (Note: "Great BU Alumnus or Alumna" indicates a Graduate of BU, while "Great BUite" applies to all and sundry at Biblical University)

Mrs. B responds: "Be Great. Serve."
