Our Unique Course Structure and Learning Approach at Biblical University

Our courses are self-study, which means you will learn independently by reading materials and engaging with the content on your own, without direct instruction or a structured class. This format offers flexibility in terms of when and where you study and allows you to learn at your own pace, but it requires self-discipline, motivation, and good time management to stay focused and organized.

PLEASE NOTE: Our courses are designed without any tests or examinations. This approach allows for a more relaxed learning environment where students can focus on understanding the material rather than preparing for assessments.

Assessment Structure

Student performance at Biblical University is evaluated through the following components:

(a) Required Reading List

Students are expected to purchase the complete set of eBooks outlined in the list. This will not only enhance your understanding of the course material but also support your academic success.

Note: In order to qualify for the marks, the eBooks must be purchased as a complete set.

(b) Student Activities – Students will participate in online activities or at a designated area for outreach once a semester. A venue or platform will be provided for the students to join.

(c) Internship – An internship is a learning experience that offers meaningful, practical work related to a student's field of study, ministry, or career interest. Students are required to participate in internships. There will be an internship in the second and third years, respectively. Announcements will be made via the website, email, and social media.

(d) Research – In your final year, you will submit three topics for your thesis. A topic will be approved for you to begin a research work. The University will assign you a supervisor. Your research work will be submitted for grading

Self-Directed Learning Expectations

As a self-directed learner, you will track your own progress through self-management. It’s important to be organized and dedicated to your studies. While there are no traditional progress indicators, you are encouraged to create your own study plan and milestones.

Independent learning:

You are responsible for your own learning process, including what and how you study.

Flexibility:

You can study whenever and wherever it suits your schedule.

Pacing:

You can progress through the material quickly or slowly.

Self-discipline:

You need to be organized and disciplined to maintain focus and motivation.

Time management:

You must plan your study sessions effectively to ensure you complete the material.
