The Honorary Degrees, Professional Membership and Award are to be presented at a local church service or at a regional or national meeting of the church body of which the candidate is a member. This suggested service is intended simply to bring the University to you and have the ceremony in your locality.

If you are a Pastor, Evangelist, Prophet, Missionary, Apostle, Teacher of the Word or a Leader of an active Christian Ministry, Biblical University, ACHETS Missionary University and Association for Christian Higher Education and Theological Schools - ACHETS Incorporated may be able to grant you Two Honorary Doctorate Degrees, Professional Membership and Award, if you meet the requirements.

What is the relevance of an Honorary Doctorate Degree in preaching the Word (Gospel)?
Biblical University and ACHETS Missionary University will offer Two Honorary Doctorate Degrees to people who have distinguished themselves in their ministries and communities. The Honorary Doctorate Degree is not earned, but deserved. It is given to well deserved persons who have contributed to the building of Churches, Ministries, Communities, the Nation and the cause of Christ in World Evangelism. Recipients of honorary degrees do not have to meet any of the typical requirements for a doctorate, such as passing examinations or completing a thesis. Rather, it is conferred on a person in recognition of his/her contribution and involvement in building of Churches, Ministries, Communities, the Nation and the cause of Christ in World Evangelism. The word "honorary" shows the degree is given in honor "Now we ask you, brothers, to give recognition to those who labor among you and lead you in the Lord and admonish you" 1 Thessalonians 5:12

Is an Honorary Degree equivalent to an Academic Degree?
An honorary degree is an academic degree for which a university (or other degree-awarding institution) waives the usual degree requirements.

Honorary degrees are conferred to honor people who have distinguished themselves in their ministries and communities, while academic degrees are earned on the completion of academic endeavors, which involves years of intensive study, scholarly articles for research or thesis/dissertation.

In conferring honorary degrees we seek to recognize extraordinary achievement, and to honor individuals whose accomplishments demonstrate both a transformative impact and standard of excellence such that they provide. The Degrees are awarded for significant and extraordinary contributions or service to society, the University, community and Church as a whole; or, to a profession or discipline concerned with service to the Lord and humanity. It is important that recipients be committed Christians and persons of great integrity. Individuals receiving honorary degrees and awards become ambassadors for Biblical University, ACHETS Missionary University and Association for Christian Higher Education and Theological Schools - ACHETS Incorporated.

It is not possible for honorary degrees and awards to be conferred in absentia. The individuals receiving the honorary degrees and awards are to be present at the ceremony the degrees and awards will be conferred.
